Shopping on-line?

On-Line Shopping?
You could be on the losing side of the line!
We received complaint from a Student who is proceeding to the U.S. for Masters. We have all details of this complaint and assure to publish the reply from www.Indiaplaza.in - in case they have any?
As the books are cheaper in India, the student decided to purchase books in India on-line.
In the First attempt he found www.Indiaplaza.in
In the First attempt the site displayed availability of all the books which he required!!
The site also committed to dispatch the ordered books within 3 working days!!!
The Student made the entire payment through Credit card for all the books he required and than started the ‘WAIT’. No panic since he had sufficient time in hand.
The on-line status of his ‘order’ showed ‘Shipped’ and hence no tension.
His first shock came when he received only one of the 5 books ordered for.
There after he made repeated phone calls on the Bangalore number mentioned only to be told that the books are not in stock hence it will take time.
Today the Student starts his travel with only 2 of the 5 ‘ORDERED & PAID for’ books.
The QUESTIONS:
1. If he purchases books from the market does he not pay 2 times for the same book?
2. If the books delivered LATE are couriered to him in America, it will cost his family min. Rs. 500/Kg. Making the books more costly here then in the U.S.?
3. What if his classes start and his books are not delivered?
4. Why did Indiaplaza keep the student in dark?
5. Why did Indiaplaza collect payment for the books which they did not have ready for despatch?
6. How does Indiaplaza compensate the student for the mental agony he has been subjected to?

what has Indiaplaza to say?
